What sizes are offered?

For better portability and convenience, all UrgentRx® Fast Powders™ come in single dose packets. The medication is offered in a single credit card-size pack (usually found at the front checkout of a store) and a 10 count box of single dose stick packs (found in the OTC aisle).

Ask your store manager if you can’t find UrgentRx® on the shelf.

How do I take UrgentRx® Fast Powders™?

If you have symptoms, open the packet of UrgentRx® and pour the flavored powder into your mouth. Because the medication comes in a powder format, it is easy to swallow and does not require liquid. Please refer to individual packet for dosage instructions. Always consult a physician or pharmacist before taking any new medication.

How quickly does UrgentRx® start to work?

Because individual weights, body chemistry and dosage occasions vary, time of relief of symptoms will vary. However, UrgentRx® Fast Powders™ are formulated as fast-acting medications.

What is the proper dosage of each UrgentRx® medication?

No. You do not need to take UrgentRx® with a liquid. UrgentRx® Fast Powders™ are easy to swallow, fast dissolving flavored powders.

Do any UrgentRx® products contain caffeine? Why?

Both UrgentRx® Ache & Pain Relief to Go™ and Headache Relief to Go™ contain caffeine. Caffeine is a common adjuvant used in pain relief products containing aspirin and acetaminophen.

Which UrgentRx® products contain ibuprofen?

None of the UrgentRx® products contain ibuprofen.

Usage & Storage

How long will UrgentRx® last?

About two years. All UrgentRx® products have an expiration date stamped on the seal and/or box. UrgentRx® medications may be consumed until this date.

Will the medicine in the UrgentRx® be damaged in my wallet, purse or backpack?

No, UrgentRx® medications are in fine-powder form. In normal circumstances, sitting on or compressing the powder will not harm the medication.

Can I use UrgentRx® with other medications?

UrgentRx® products are serious and effective over-the-counter medication. Check known drug interactions on the Drug Facts on each packet under the heading: “Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.” If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking UrgentRx® with other medications.

Can I take UrgentRx® if I am pregnant or nursing?

Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking any medication while pregnant or nursing.

What are the recommended ages for using UrgentRx®?

UrgentRx® products come in single-dose packets designed for adults and children 12 years and older. Please read the instructions and recommended dosage on the back of the product (or website) and/or consult your doctor.

Can I use UrgentRx® products after the expiration date?

We do not recommend that you take UrgentRx® or any other product after its expiration date.

Does UrgentRx® have child resistant packaging?

All UrgentRx® Fast Powders™ come in child resistant packaging. Do not use if carton or pouch is torn or open.

Is it safe to take products containing Acetaminophen, such as your UrgentRx® Headache Relief To Go™?

Acetaminophen is safe for most people to use when taken as directed. Acetaminophen should not be used with other products containing acetaminophen, with 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day when taking the medication, or more than directed or 4,000 mg per day.

Take acetaminophen and all other medications according to the package directions. For further information or to discuss personal health concerns, please consult your pharmacist or physician.

Why did UrgentRx® switch from Aspirin to Acetaminophen for Headache Relief to Go™?

Acetaminophen is one for the most widely used products for headache pain. Pain relief medication should be chosen by the individual based on the recommendations of their own physician and pharmacist.

UrgentRx® is changing the active ingredient in Headache Relief To-Go™ to acetaminophen to provide an alternative to our customers who may not be able or want to take aspirin based products.

Does Acetaminophen cause liver damage?

When taken as directed, acetaminophen is safe and effective. However, severe liver damage may occur if you take more than 4,000 mg of acetaminophen in 24 hours, or take with other drugs containing acetaminophen, or take with 3 or more alcoholic drinks a day while using this product.

In case of overdose, consumers are instructed to seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. (1-877-895-3665). Quick medical attention is critical for adults as well as children even if no signs or symptoms are noticed.

What is the Acetaminophen dosage in 1 pack?
